The recipient each year will present the plenary lecture at the Annual Groundwater Symposium during the ASCE EWRI World Environmental & Water Resources Congress.

The award goes beyond bringing recognition to the individual recipient; the plenary lecture increases the visibility of the Groundwater Symposia, the EWRI Groundwater Council, and the important work that the Groundwater Council seeks to accomplish each year.  Your support of the award also supports the Council’s efforts to encourage outstanding students to study groundwater science and engineering, thereby training the next generation of innovators.
