EMI Student Competitions

The EMI Younger Researchers Participation Fund supports the 13 Student Competitions that the Engineering Mechanics Institute conducts during their annual conference.

These competitions span the many engineering areas of practice within Engineering Mechanics and foster opportunities for the student competitors to:

  • Enhance their technical writing and presentation skills,
  • Network with their fellow students, judges, and committee members within their areas of interest, and
  • Explore and engage with emerging research within Engineering Mechanics.

Your contributions to these competitions will drive the growth and development of the next generation of scholars and practitioners.

If you are interested in sponsoring a student competition(s), please see our sponsorship menu. If you would like to support one of the specific student competitions, please note the competition in the comments section below.
